This wall art is made in 3 layers. The base layer is 3/4" wood, painted with 5 coats of magnetic primer and then painted beige. The magnetic primer creates a surface for magnets to stick to. It is not, itself, magnetic. The second layer is the tree itself. It is cut from 3/4" wood and stained with a walnut stain. The third layer is a 1/4" pre-cut "Family" and choice of green leaves, fall leaves or hearts. The leaves or hearts may differ slightly from those pictured, depending on availability. The Family and leaves are glued on to the tree. The "tags" option is up to (15) 1"x2" 1/8" wood tags. These are unpainted. Each tag will have a neodymium magnet glued to back. These can be used to hold your own pictures around the tree, or to write Family names or initials. Placement of the tags is random for the photos. If you select that you want the tags, please specify the desired amount. If no amount is specified, the default is 8 tags. All layers are glued together. Every piece is coated and sealed with polyurethane.
