This wall art is made in 5 layers. The base layer is 1/2" wood stained with a walnut stain and painted black in the middle. The second layer is 1/4" wood painted silver. The face is cut out of the silver layer, filled in by the black underneath it. The third layer is painted light grey to create the facial accents. The fourth layer is 1/2" wood stained with a walnut stain with a decagon (10 sides) cut out of the center to show the face. The fifth layer is 1/4" wood painted yellow to form the accent bars. All layers are glued together. Every piece is coated and sealed with polyurethane.
