This handmade Wizard of Oz Tribute coffee table is made from plywood in 3 separate layers. The base layer is 3/4" thick, and stained with a reddish brown stain. A yellow brick road boarders the outer edges. (Pictured with original painted plastic. This will be updated with paint and vinyl for a better look.) The second layer is 3/4" thick OZ logo of intertwined letters painted gold and silver. A 2 layer 1/8" map of Oz is added to the lower corner. 

The top layer is 1/4" plexiglass. A 1" wood boarder is attached to the plexiglass and stained to match the base. The characters are 1/4" wood and painted in various colors as pictured. They are glued to the plexiglass.

There are 3" spacers between the top and bottom layers, stained to match the base. There are pre-drilled holes in the plexiglass for pieces to connect to the top of the spacers to secure the table. 

The table comes with a professionally cut 1/4" thick glass top (not pictured) that matches the size of the bottom layer. This will sit on top of the 1" wood frame on the top layer.

The legs screw into pre-installed plates. Each leg is painted or decoupage to resemble a minimalist version of the 4 main characters with added decorations corresponding to the character. Every piece is coated and sealed with polyurethane. 

The table is 36" x 28". It is 22" tall total height. 

This item is currently available only as a "made-to-order" piece. It will take up to 3 weeks to make from scratch. Once you pay, the work will start.

For shipping purposes, the table will not be assembled. You will need wood glue and a rubber mallet for assembly.
